In this article, we’ll explore some ways to find Thailand travel deals. If you’re planning a trip to Thailand, and looking to save money, the tips in this article should be helpful.
1. Before you shop for deals, plan some basics.
Before you shop for travel deals, you need to know a few things. When are you planning to travel? For how long? What’s your budget? Having these things in mind before you shop will help you find the deals that are right for you.
2. Know what kind of traveler you are.
Would you rather plan your own itinerary, or travel with a package tour? Some people like to leave all the day to day details to someone else. If this is you, packages and organized tours will be your best bet. But if you’d rather plan out the details yourself, you should shy away from tours. There are some packages that just offer discounts when you buy airfare and lodging together, though, so if you’re not a tour person, that doesn’t mean there aren’t package deals that will suit you.
Once you’ve got those basics down, it’s time to start looking for deals.
1. Airfare Discounts
To find airfare discounts, first try sites like Expedia and VirtualTourist.com. You can also sometimes find discounted airfares from trip consolidators (companies that buy tickets in bulk and then resell them. Get some prices online, and then check with your local travel agent; they might be able to beat the lowest price in order to get your business. If you’re thinking of travelling with a package tour, see whether the rour company offers discounted airfares.
Hot Tip: Recently I heard about a new guide for how to get cheap flights, written by a downsized airline employee. He supposedly reveals some insider secrets for getting the cheapest possible airfares. To check it out, Click Here.
2. Hotel Discounts
A quick Google search reveals a number of websites dedicated to offering discounted rates at Thai hotels.
ThaiHotelEasy.com, ThaiHotelDiscount.com, DiscountThaiHotel.com, and AtSiam.com are a few of the top ranked (in Google) sites like this. Star Travel Deals does not endorse or recommend these sites, so use them at your own risk, but you may be able to find some good deals here. If you’re wary of sites like this, try your local travel agent.
3. Package Deals
You can often get substantial discounts by purchasing all of your travel reservations together from a single seller. You get your airfare, hotel reservations, and rental car through one broker at a discount.
4. Tours
If you’re interested in traveling as part of a tour group, your lodging and transportation within Thailand will be provided by the tour company. Some tour companies also offer airfare discounts if you purchase your tickets through them.
I hope this brief article has suggested some ways for you to find Thailand travel deals. Enjoy your trip!
